About POD X | Power On Demand

Founded 2012. One of the first in mini jump starters by 2013.

POD X was founded in 2012 in Ventura County, California, and in 2013 became one of the first companies to sell compact lithium jump starters to American drivers, back when a jump starter meant a twenty-pound lead-acid box and the pitch had to start with explaining what a pocket-size one was. Born From Necessity

It started the night our founder got stranded in Joshua Tree with a dead battery and zero cell signal. One hard-won jump start later, the mission was clear: nobody should ever feel that helpless again.

Since 2012, we have been engineering portable power and safety equipment that works when everything else fails. Not flimsy consumer gadgets: professional-grade tools tested in real-world conditions and backed by the longest warranty in the industry.

What We Stand For

Reliability Over Everything. Every POD X product is engineered to perform when it matters most: in freezing cold, scorching heat, on dark highways, and deep in the backcountry. We test relentlessly because the moment you need our gear is the worst possible time for it to fail.

Multi-Function Design. Why carry five tools when one will do the job? Our jump starters double as power banks and flashlights. Our survival axes pack 15 tools into one compact frame. Every product earns its space in your kit.

No-BS Warranty. Every POD X product carries a 3-year warranty with free registration, the longest in the portable power category. We stand behind what we build because we use it ourselves.
